Students will learn about the history of women’s rights in North Carolina and the role of the North Carolina Constitutionin both restricting and expanding those rights throughout time. Students will explore two North Carolina Supreme Court cases -In Re Application of Holtonand Kirkpatrick v. Crutchfield-that grappled with the legal rights of women.
